Imagine playing pool, but with soccer balls and using your body parts as the cue stick.  Well if you haven't thought of it before, Budweiser has and made a commercial entitled Poolball.  American Outlaw fans and other soccer supporters groups will also recognize the song being sung by fans.  Enjoy poolball and maybe even a Bud, if you're 21!

'Irish Eyes Are Smiling' were the words used by the announcer as Republic of Ireland international, Robbie Keane, scores in his debut for Los Angeles Galaxy against San Jose Earthquakes this past weekend.  Keane's move to MLS has made plenty of headlines in Ireland, England and the United States.  He has been labeled as a player choosing a larger payday while living the easy life in LA instead of wanting to continue to prove his worth in England.  Questions also are being asked if this move could hurt his chances to continue to play for the Republic.  For one night the analysis stopped, and soccer fans were able to see his famous goal celebration live on American soil.

In the first leg of the Super Copa Final David Villa scored another great goal for Barcelona.  That saying might be getting old, but it seems that at times Barca is unable to score bad goals.  After a long passing sequence at midfield, Messi dribbled down the middle of the field before finding Villa on the left wing.  Villa would receive the pass cut inside and put the ball into the far post from the corner of the 18-yard box.  The goal gave Barcelona a 1-0 lead, but the game finished 2-2.  Enjoy the goal and the sounds of Ray Hudson.

The latest YouTube of the week is a scene that you don't often see professional players exposed to.  While in China for preseason, Real Madrid played a game against 109 children to celebrate the 109th year of the famous Spanish club.  The clip includes a free kick goal by Madrid, a tripped-up star, and a lot of bunching up by the children.  Quite a different game than Jose Mourinho is used to, I'm not sure even the 'Special-One' could handle the tactics of the little ones.  In separate news, Real Madrid, signed a 7-yo Argentine, maybe a young lad from this game will sign next.

The latest edition of YouTube of the Week involves a coke commercial focused on Copa America.  For any fan that has had to endure a game sitting with the opposing fans, this will bring back memories of that game.

    of the Week

If you're bored at work or just surfing the web, here is your chance to get some HUGE recognition.  Each week we will select the best clip from "YouTube".  Since we are too busy saving the world, we are asking our readers to email us the best clips they find each week.  The only requirement is that the clip is soccer related; it can be a great goal, a funny celebration, or some friends screwing around with a soccer ball.  Send us a clip you find on the web and each Monday we will post the best one and if your clip wins, you'll get a SHOUT OUT and if it's deemed T-shirt worthy, you'll get a Soccer Banter T-shirt to wear!
