No one will soon forget how the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League season finished (though quite a few Manchester United fans would like to), but this weekend the drama starts anew. With each new season, brings plenty of managerial changes along with the big name transfers. River Returns to First Division
On June 23, 2012, River Plate defeated Almirante Brown by a 2-0 score, to win the Second Division title in Argentinean soccer and achieved the promotion to the first division after 363 days. On August 5th, 42 days after that exciting game against Almirante Brown, where River Plate fans were eccentric and crying of happiness, it was time for the first game of the season back in the elite division.
